Stop, Drop, and Roll

When your clothes catch on fire, there are a few simple things you can do to help keep yourself safe.

* Stop what you are doing....DO NOT RUN!

* Drop to the ground, covering your face with your hands to protect your face.

* Roll over back and forth to smother the flames.

* Cool burned area with water and call 911 for help.

* If someone else's clothes catch on fire, you may have to help them. If they do not drop to the ground on their own, you may need to push them or knock them down. You can also throw a heavy blanket or rug on them to help put out the flames.
